I think the warranty has a milage and a year limit - just like a car. If this is indeed the case then be careful about the advice here to "take it if you are going to ride a lot." If they limit the miles and/or the years and you ride a lot of miles then your warranty is not worth much!
Make sure to ask them about a mileage limit on the warranty just to make sure! If you ride 10,000 miles the first year that might be all the warranty you get!
